Building a High Performance & Inclusive Culture

Updated: May 8

Building a high performance and inclusive culture takes focus, expertise and leadership. Welcome to Elizabeth Barron Consulting.

For the past five years, I've been immersed in startup and scale-up businesses, partnering with visionary leaders who value their teams and understand the importance of culture in achieving success. A common thread amongst these leaders is clear - they trust their teams, embrace mistakes as learning opportunities, and seek guidance to propel their teams and businesses forward. They celebrate team achievements and growth.

In 2021, I founded Elizabeth Barron Consulting to assist these types of leaders in enhancing their team's capabilities. Starting with HR Consulting and quickly expanding to offer Coaching and Development Programs aimed to optimise human potential. The journey so far has been incredible - filled with rich learning, supported by an amazing network and invaluable client feedback, enabling me to continue to refine and tailor my offering.

Starting this business was driven by a fascination for understanding people and business dynamics to supercharge excellence. I’ve always been intrigued by how decisions are made, the creation of innovative ideas, and the secret sauce of success.  The privilege I had of working inside HR teams was the ability to interact with the whole business—across, up, down, and deep within. This gave me the advantage of learning about people and team dynamics on the job, every day. I’ve been in the planning room and the trenches, delivering hard messages and celebrating wins.

Working inside HR is complex, requiring adaptability and a deep understanding of business and individual needs. Along with interviewing thousands of candidates, my roles over the past 20 years have enriched my perspective and sharpened my skills. Transitioning from Luxottica to THE ICONIC honed my insights into how HR and leadership can boost performance and culture. These experiences have shaped my approach when building HR foundations, optimising talent ecosystems, and coaching leaders and teams.

We’ve emerged into a time when more leaders are starting to understand the true value of culture to their business success, how great cultures make the growth journey so much more enjoyable, and how important it is to focus on the capabilities we need to succeed as the world continues to evolve.

Ultimately, people shape culture, and leaders create the environment for success. If you're ready to reflect on your impact and take proactive steps to enhance your business's performance and culture, let's discuss how I can help.

How robust is your Talent Ecosystem?
